Ardiyasa Dwisaputra, Promotion and Public Relation PT Hino Motors Sales Indonesia, mengatakan sekitar 7 unit dari truk tipe paling besar hingga terkecil yang menjadi unggulan Hino di Tanah Air akan hadir dalam pameran akbar IIMS pada 20-30 September 2012.

“Selain produk unggulan tersebut ada 2 unit yang spesial didatangkan untuk IIMS berupa kendaraan ramah lingkungan yaitu bus Hino Selega Premium Hybrid dan truk Hino Truck Head CNG yang berbahan bakar gas,” katanya di Jakarta, Senin (10/9/2012).

Menurutnya, Hino Selega Premium Hybrid merupakan bus berteknologi dua mesin dengan sumber penggerak dari listrik dan premium, yang sudah ditampilkan pada Tokyo International Motor Show beberapa waktu lalu. Pengunjung IIMS 2012 dapat melihat langsung keunggulan bus berteknologi hybrid itu, lanjutnya, yang interiornya didesain cukup mewah dengan berbagai fitur pendukung yang mengagumkan.

Ardiyasa menjelaskan Hino Truck Head CNG merupakan truk trailer berbahan bakar gas yang sangat potensial untuk dikembangkan di Indonesia, mengingat kekayaan sumber gas Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) yang sangat melimpah di dalam negeri. “Hino sudah lama mengembangkan kendaraan berteknologi hybrid maupun berbahan bakar gas. Bahkan, Hino sudah membuktikan berhasil memasok bus berbahan bakar gas yang telah dioperasikan untuk armada bus Transjakarta,” ujarnya.

Dia mengatakan Hino siap memasok truk dan bus berbahan bakar gas untuk memenuhi berapa pun kebutuhan pasar Indonesia, sebagaimana di Thailand dan Jepang yang sebagian pasarnya telah digarap Hino dengan baik karena ada dukungan infrastrukturnya. Namun, lanjutnya, pengembangan pasar truk dan bus berbahan bakar gas di Tanah Air masih terhambat oleh belum siapnya infrastruktur pendukung antara lain ketersediaan stasiun pengisian bahan bakar gas dalam jumlah memadai serta jaminan pasokan gasnya.

Santiko Wardoyo, Sales and Promotion Director PT Hino Motors Sales Indonesia, mengatakan Hino siap memasok bus berbahan bakar gas untuk memenuhi kebutuhan angkutan umum di Jakarta dan kota besar lainnya di tanah air. “Kami punya teknologi yang mampu memproduksi truk dan bus berbahan bakar gas. Buktinya, Hino sudah memproduksi 90 unit bus untuk bus Transjakarta,” tegasnya.

Menurutnya, Hino secara internasional telah memproduksi truk dan bus berbahan bakar gas, antara lain di Thailan yang sudah mencapai sekitar 40% dari total penjualan Hino di negeri gajah tersebut. Dia mengatakan Hino siap memproduksi kendaraan niaga jenis truk dan bus, sejalan dengan program pemerintah menggalakkan penggunanan bahan bakar gas untuk kendaraan pribadi, operasional kantor dan angkutan umum guna menghapus subsidi harga bahan bakar minyak.

Hino merupakan salah satu dari 10 merek kendaraan niaga yang berpartisipasi dalam IIMS 2012 di Jakarta International Expo Kemayoran, meliputi Foton, FAW, Hino Isuzu, MAN Trucks, Mercedes-Benz, Mitsubishi Fuso, Tata Motors, Toyota Nyna, dan UD Truct. PT Isuzu Astra Motor Indonesia juga tidak ketinggalan memamerkan sejumlah produk unggulan terbarunya dalam IIMS 2012, termasuk unit Isuzu teknologi baru yang berbahan bakar gas sebagai bagian dari program green car.

Vietnam To Focus On Increase In Bus, Rail, Metro Services

Buslovers – The Ministry of Transport of Vietnam discussed a project approved by Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung to increase bus, rail and metro services across the country during the period 2012-2020

As per the project, from now until 2020, all cities and provinces must outline a master plan for developing a network of buses, hence easing gridlock and ensuring a convenient method of transport for the public.
The project calls for more use of public buses; an increase in frequency of bus services; use of electronic ticketing on buses and railways; and an efficient underground metro train system.

The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Transport has unveiled a project to purchase 1,680 new buses at a total cost of VND 2 trillion (USD 95.7 million) for the period 2012 – 2015. This includes 571 80-seater buses, 409 55-seater buses and 700 40-seater buses.

The new buses will use compressed natural gas and will be of high standards, meeting the requirements of Euro III exhaust regulations.
The city has promised to help investors with low-interest rate loans and to subsidize bus operations. All the buses will have electronic information signs and GPS tracking systems. Investors will only have to pay 30 per cent of the total cost, and the remainder amount will be covered by low-interest rate loans that the People’s Committee of HCMC will arrange for investors, according to the Department of Transport.

The Department of Science, Technology and Environment of HCMC also held a meeting on technical standards of smart tickets, to be used for all public transport.
